Sara Jones

Sara is currently Mobile Operations Director at BT Group, delivering, managing and supporting the EE Mobile Network for over 30million customers. In addition, she serves as a Board Director at MBNL: the network sharing organisation jointly owned by EE and Three.  Sara has worked in Mobile Telecommunications for over 24 years, in Orange UK, EE and now BT Group. Upon completion of her Master's degree in IT she started her career in Design Engineering roles, and has held Senior Leadership positions in IT Design, Network Testing and Network Operations.  Sara is a multi-award winning leader, most recently winning Enterprise Leader of the Year 2023 at the Women in Tech Excellence Awards, Leader of the Year 2022 at the Everywoman in Technology Awards, and has been on the ComputerWeekly list for Most Influential Women in UK Tech for the last 3 years.
